About

RadioRadio founder Tim McLarty,
began working in radio in 1980 as a part time disc jockey in his home town of Chatham, Ontario. When he graduated from St. Clair College in Windsor, he decided to seek fame and fortune in the thriving metropolis of Kapuskasing, Ontario as a copywriter. When the evening disc jockey passed out on the console one night, the general manager decided it was time to add announcing to his writing duties…and a radio career was born.
Some ten radio stations and 17 years later, Tim went on to teach radio writing and production at Humber College for 8 years. At the same time he founded video branding production house, Ontrack Communications in Toronto.

The radio bug runs deep. All these years later, you’ll still find Tim flipping up the dial listening and lovin’ that perfect bit or tightly produced commercial.

Some thousand commercials later, working with every kind of client imaginable, Tim and his team continue to pour their passion for theatre of the mind into every spot, sound logo and audio project they’re privileged enough to work on.
